The Institute of Development and Governance (IDG Dakar) and Senghor University in Alexandria are launching a call for applications for a certified training course entitled “Steering and management of organizational performance” (PMPO), structured around four complementary levers: leadership, strategy, finance and digital.
The first session of this training will take place in hybrid mode: an online phase from November 30 to December 4, 2026, followed by a five-day face-to-face grouping from December 7 to 11, 2026.
The deadline for submitting applications is September 19, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Egypt time).
A number of 25 to 30 participants will be selected, with particular attention paid to female candidates.
African organizations, both public and private, are evolving in a profoundly changing environment: intensifying competition, growing budgetary constraints, increased demands for results, acceleration of digitalization and new expectations of employees and users. In this context, the ability of leaders and managers to effectively manage the performance of their organization has become a determining factor in competitiveness and development.
The challenges facing executives are not just technical. They firstly relate to the ability to exercise mobilizing leadership, to define clear strategic priorities, to arbitrate financial resources, to exploit digital opportunities and to develop cooperation within teams. The performance of an organization is built precisely at the intersection of these dimensions.
It is to meet this challenge that IDG Dakar and Senghor University jointly offer this certificate. Unlike specialized training focused on a single area, this training develops a global and integrated vision of organizational management, based on international benchmarks and strongly contextualized to African realities. Each session is adapted to the context of the country where it takes place, with corresponding sectoral case studies.
