Sustainable development in Africa depends closely on the capacity of stakeholders to build solid partnerships and effectively mobilize the resources essential for the implementation of projects and programs. In an environment marked by the proliferation of State actors, international organizations, civil society, private sector, diasporas and foundations, the complexity of financing mechanisms and the requirement for local ownership reinforce the need for strategic and integrated management of partnerships. However, many cooperation actors face persistent difficulties: absence of clear partnership strategies, weakness in the search for new donors, lack of control in the formulation of attractive project proposals, or even insufficient management of partnership relations, thus limiting the scope and sustainability of development initiatives.
To respond to these challenges, this training aims to strengthen the skills of cooperation professionals in the management of partnerships and the mobilization of resources. Through an approach combining theoretical contributions, practical tools and case studies adapted to the African context, it offers participants an in-depth understanding of the dynamics and levers of cooperation. The objective is to enable them to design and manage sustainable partnerships, to diversify their sources of financing and to maximize the impact of their actions in favor of the development of African communities.
